Current Efforts

A large portion of the research conducted at Bloominescence is invested in non-physical modeling and simulation. We believe that the time spent preparing device architecture and selection of materials is an efficient use of R&D money in the near and long term. By employing proper planning practices, expensive materials, lab time, and equipment degradation can be circumvented. Therefore an extended prototype preparation phase is favored over performing numerous, often times superfluous prototype iterations.

Current research at Bloominescence is concentrated on a novel Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) structure. At the present, preparatory modeling and simulation phase is being wrapped up, and Bloominescence will outsource a majority of thin-film deposition to local Universities and industry experts who are familiar with the state of the art and who conduct similar deposition processes on a regular basis.
